Psychotherapy is a practice of deep listening; it helps you feel connected, grounded and understood.

The therapeutic relationship provides a safe environment where you are free to explore the feelings, patterns and obstacles that have come between you and your passions and goals.

I work with children, adolescents and their families in private practice and within the school system, which further enhances emotional, social and academic growth.  For the past four years, I have been selected as a “Favorite Kids’ Doc” by New Jersey Family Magazine.

Through a neurobiological framework and a psychodynamic approach, I will help you to understand your child’s and your family’s needs.  My training in yoga and mindfulness enhances traditional psychotherapeutic approaches to working with children, adolescents, adults, families, couples and groups.

Kirsten earned her Masters Degree in Social Work at Fordham University in 2005.
